It’s a question that has plagued our organization since it’s beginnings. Whether it’s getting more women in the community or getting community women to step up and volunteer or staff, engagement has always been an area we want to focus on. So now we are.
We’d like to announce a new position, Director of Engagement. In the past year, Open Circles have helped several regions to fill Weekends – often weeks ahead of time. This project was something Judy Rudin had birthed and is helping to spread it globally. She has done a fantastic job – we even have circles in places where we don’t even have regions or even outreach areas.
We really believe that Judy was the best person to step into this larger responsibility. Her new position will require that she has some leaders on her team to engage women in the organization and in events and circles. It’s a large scope and she is still looking for assistance.
Judy is very lucky to have Page Rossiter to step up to help her as a Circle Liaison. This Circle Liaison position is women’s first stop for help with all things Woman Within Circle related., New Director position allows us to plan and manage engagement around our Circles.
If you want to help Judy with this monumental task of getting women involved, reach out to her at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Judy Rudin has been on the board previously as a Fundraising Director, and was moved to a Director at Large with the special project of Open Circles last year. She far exceeded expectations in the growth of these circles and recruitment of volunteers and leaders. She’s been moved to a regular board position of the Director of Engagement which will allow us to use her talents and skills to promote engagement at every level. She’ll engage new women as she does now, and also focus on growing leaders and participation in many level of the organization. Judy is also a Facilitator, hosts Open Circles in her home and is working on Online Open Circles as a way to connect more women. You can connect to Judy by email at email@example.com.
Page has been active in Woman Within since her initiation weekend in 1998 in San Diego. She is passionate about creating safe places for women to be seen and heard in their authenticity. Having staffed over 50 weekends, she is a Certified Facilitator 3 and has led many open circles and trainings. Sitting in circles has been an integral part of her life for almost 2 decades and she loves what’s possible when women come together to support, challenge and celebrate one another. She has had the pleasure of staffing in every region in the US, Canada, the UK, Perth and Cape Town. Page and her hubby recently relocated back to lovely Victoria, BC after 4 years of living in the Middle East. She adores their 3 meows, her porch swing and sharing hugs. You can learn more about her at www.PageRossiter.com or you can e-mail her at firstname.lastname@example.org
